Join Madison SMC and our partner organization Dane County CASA at a special performance of the Second City Improv All Stars at the Dane County CASA Stand Up for Kids! event on June 17th! All proceeds will benefit the work of Dane County CASA to advocate and support children who are under the authority of the county courts due to situations of abuse or neglect.

The Second City puts on an entirely improvised satiric show based on audience suggestion. The company is known for producing top comedic talent, with a list of alumni that includes Tina Fey, John Belushi, Bill Murray, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Chris Farley, Mike Meyers, Steve Carell, Stephen Colbert and many more! Audience members will enjoy a hilarious show with up and coming comedy stars while supporting a great cause!

The Social Media Club of Madison has launched a year-long partnership with Dane County CASA, Inc. to raise awareness about children impacted by abuse and neglect. The 100+ members of the Social Media Club of Madison will use the power and reach of social media, including Twitter, Facebook, blogs and other platforms, to connect Dane County CASA with new audiences.

As the Social Media Club of Madison’s charity of the year, CASA Executive Director Mary Beth Collins will be contributing regular blog posts to the Madison SMC website, discussing the rewards and challenges of work in a small non-profit, Dane County CASA’s mission and goals, and developments within the organization as it moves forward with an expansion campaign.
